Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your preferences and to measure how the site is used. We also use related technologies such as local storage, session storage, and pixels; for simplicity we refer to all of these as “cookies” in this policy.

We group cookies into three categories:

• Strictly necessary. Required to run the Services. These cannot be turned off. Examples: session authentication in the portal, CSRF tokens, and the bk_analytics_consent cookie that remembers your choice on this banner.
• Analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the marketing site so we can improve it. These load only after you accept the consent banner. Examples: Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_XXXXXXXXXX).
• Preferences. Remember choices you make on the site (such as dismissed banners or preferred locale).

The first time you visit the marketing site we show a banner asking you to accept or reject analytics cookies. If you reject, no Google Analytics scripts are loaded and no analytics cookies are set. If you accept, the choice is remembered for 180 days via the bk_analytics_consent cookie described above.

Portal pages (/admin, /attorney, /client) never load analytics regardless of consent.

You can change your choices at any time by:

• Clearing the bk_analytics_consent cookie in your browser and reloading the site (the banner will reappear);
• Using your browser’s built-in controls to block or delete cookies (see: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge);
• Enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser (we honor DNT for our own analytics).

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent core parts of the Services (such as signing in) from working correctly.

Third-party services embedded in the Services (such as Google Analytics, Adobe Sign, and our payment processor) set their own cookies and are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. Belmont Knight is not responsible for those third-party practices.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, for material changes, prompt you to renew your consent choice.
